How to Install TiviMate IPTV Player (2026)

TiviMate is the best IPTV player for Firestick and Android TV. This guide walks you through the full installation and Vivimate setup from scratch — takes under 10 minutes.

Installing TiviMate on Firestick

Step 1 — Enable Apps from Unknown Sources

  1. 1From the Firestick home screen, go to Settings (gear icon, top right).
  2. 2Select My Fire TV.
  3. 3Scroll down and tap Developer Options.
  4. 4Toggle Apps from Unknown Sources to ON.
  5. 5Toggle ADB Debugging to ON (optional but recommended).

Step 2 — Install the Downloader App

  1. 1Press the Home button and go to the Search bar.
  2. 2Type 'Downloader' and select the app by AFTVnews.
  3. 3Click Get or Download and wait for installation.
  4. 4Open Downloader and grant storage permissions when asked.
  5. 5In Downloader Settings, enable JavaScript (required for some download pages).

Step 3 — Download & Install TiviMate APK

  1. 1Open Downloader and enter the TiviMate APK download URL in the URL bar. (Contact Vivimate support for the current URL, or search 'TiviMate APK download' on tivimate.app).
  2. 2Tap Go and wait for the download to complete.
  3. 3When the download finishes, tap Install.
  4. 4After installation, tap Open to launch TiviMate.
  5. 5Optional: delete the APK file to free up storage (Downloader will prompt you).

Installing TiviMate on Android TV / Google TV

  1. 1Open the Google Play Store on your Android TV device.
  2. 2Search for 'TiviMate IPTV Player'.
  3. 3Select TiviMate by Artem Maltsev and tap Install.
  4. 4Wait for the installation to complete.
  5. 5Launch TiviMate from your app list.

Note: TiviMate is available directly on Google Play for Android TV. Sideloading is not required on Android TV/Google TV devices.

Adding Your Vivimate IPTV Subscription

Once TiviMate is installed, follow these steps to connect your Vivimate account:

Step 1: Open TiviMate and tap Add Playlist on the welcome screen.

Step 2: Select Xtream Codes API from the playlist type list.

Step 3: In the URL field, enter your Vivimate Server URL exactly as provided.

Step 6: Tap Add. TiviMate will connect to Vivimate and start loading your channels.

Step 7: Wait for all channels, VOD, and series to finish loading (30–90 seconds for 50,000+ channels).

Configuring the EPG (TV Guide)

TiviMate loads EPG data separately from channels. To get your full TV guide:

  1. 1In TiviMate, press the Menu button on your remote.
  2. 2Go to Settings → EPG.
  3. 3The EPG source should auto-populate from your Xtream Codes connection.
  4. 4Tap Refresh EPG to load all programme guide data.
  5. 5Allow 2–5 minutes for EPG to fully load across 50,000+ channels.
  6. 6Once loaded, the TV Guide will show programme names, descriptions, and times.
💡 Set EPG to auto-refresh daily: Settings → EPG → Auto Refresh → Every Day at a time you choose (e.g., 3:00 AM when not streaming).

Optimisation Tips for the Best Experience

Set Player to ExoPlayer

Settings → Player → ExoPlayer. This gives the smoothest 4K and HDR playback, especially on Firestick 4K Max.

Enable hardware decoding

Settings → Player → Hardware Decoding → Auto. Offloads video decode to the GPU for smoother performance.

Create Favourites groups

Press and hold a channel → Add to Favourites. Build a custom group with just the channels you watch regularly.

Use Channel Catch-Up

Premium feature. When browsing the EPG, press OK on a past programme to replay it (for catch-up supported channels).

Set buffer size

Settings → Player → Buffer Size → Medium (default). Increase to Large if you see occasional freezes on HD channels.

Common TiviMate Issues

❓ TiviMate won't install on Firestick

Make sure Apps from Unknown Sources is enabled. If using a newer Fire TV, the setting may be under Settings → Privacy → Allow Installation from Unknown Sources.

❓ "Wrong username or password" when adding playlist

Copy-paste your credentials directly from your Vivimate WhatsApp message. Even a single extra space or character causes this error.

❓ Channels load but EPG shows nothing

Go to Settings → EPG → Refresh EPG. If still empty after 5 minutes, the EPG source URL may need to be manually set — contact Vivimate support.

❓ TiviMate crashes on launch

Clear the app cache: Settings → Applications → TiviMate → Clear Cache. If it persists, reinstall using the latest APK.
