How to Install Smart IPTV on Samsung & LG Smart TV (2026)

Smart IPTV (SIPTV) is one of the few IPTV apps that runs directly on Samsung and LG Smart TVs — no extra hardware needed. Here's how to set it up with Vivimate.

Smart IPTV (also known as SIPTV) is a dedicated IPTV app for Samsung (Tizen) and LG (WebOS) Smart TVs. It lets you watch live IPTV channels directly on your TV without needing an additional streaming stick or box.

Setup involves installing the app on your TV, then adding your Vivimate M3U playlist through a simple web panel — all done in under 10 minutes.

If you want the best IPTV experience with EPG, recording, and 4K, consider adding a Firestick or Android TV box to your Samsung/LG TV. Smart IPTV is convenient but has fewer features than TiviMate.

Before You Start: Get Your M3U URL

Smart IPTV uses M3U playlist URLs rather than Xtream Codes. Your Vivimate M3U URL is derived from your credentials:

Installing Smart IPTV on Samsung Smart TV

Step 1 — Install from Samsung App Store

  1. 1Press the Home button on your Samsung remote.
  2. 2Navigate to Apps (icon in the taskbar at the bottom).
  3. 3Click the Search icon (magnifying glass) in the top right.
  4. 4Type 'Smart IPTV' and press Enter.
  5. 5Select the Smart IPTV app and click Install.
  6. 6Once installed, open the app.

Installing Smart IPTV on LG Smart TV

  1. 1Press the Home button on your LG Magic Remote.
  2. 2Go to LG Content Store.
  3. 3Click the Search icon and type 'Smart IPTV'.
  4. 4Select the Smart IPTV app and click Install.
  5. 5Open the app after installation.

Step 2: Note Your TV's MAC Address

When you open Smart IPTV, the app displays your TV's MAC address — a unique identifier that links your TV to your playlist configuration. Write it down or take a photo.

Example MAC address format:

A1:B2:C3:D4:E5:F6

Step 3: Add Your Vivimate M3U Playlist

Smart IPTV is configured through a web panel rather than directly on the TV. Do this on a computer, phone, or tablet:

  1. 1Open a browser on your computer or phone and go to siptv.eu (the official Smart IPTV website).
  2. 2Enter your TV's MAC address in the MAC address field.
  3. 3Paste your Vivimate M3U URL in the URL field.
  4. 4Optionally add an EPG URL for programme guide data (available from Vivimate support).
  5. 5Click Send URL or Add.
  6. 6Your playlist will be queued to load on your TV.

Step 4: Load Channels on Your TV

  1. 1Go back to your TV and open the Smart IPTV app.
  2. 2Press the Reload / Refresh button in the app (or restart the app).
  3. 3Your Vivimate channels will begin loading from the server.
  4. 4Wait 30–60 seconds for the full channel list to appear.
  5. 5Use the channel list to browse and select channels to watch.

Smart IPTV gives you a 7-day free trial. After that, a one-time activation fee of $5.49 per TV is required. This is a permanent licence — no recurring charges.

Smart IPTV Troubleshooting

❓ Smart IPTV not found in Samsung App Store

Ensure your TV's region is set to a supported country. Some models require changing the TV region to US, UK, or another supported market to access the app.

❓ Channels won't load after adding M3U URL

Make sure your M3U URL is correct and publicly accessible. Test by opening it in a browser — you should see raw M3U text. Also try restarting the app after adding the URL.

❓ Trial expired but I paid — channels still locked

After payment, the activation can take up to 24 hours to process. If it's been longer, contact Smart IPTV support with your MAC address and payment confirmation.

❓ EPG not working

Add your EPG URL in the siptv.eu web panel alongside your M3U URL. Use the EPG URL in XMLTV format provided by Vivimate support.

❓ Channels load but some won't play

Some channels may be in a format not supported by Smart IPTV's built-in player. This is a known limitation of Smart IPTV. For the widest codec support, consider using a Firestick with TiviMate instead.
