Sideloading on Firestick (quick version)
- 1 From the Fire TV home screen, open Find > Search and install the Downloader app.
- 2 Go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options and turn on "Install unknown apps" for Downloader.

Step 2 — Choose your login method

Step 3 — Log in with Xtream Codes API
- 1 Open the app and select Login with Xtream Codes API.
- 2 In the Any Name field, type a label such as "Vivimate".
- 3 Paste your Username exactly as received — it is case-sensitive.
- 4 Paste your Password in the same way.
- 5 Enter your Server URL with no trailing slash (for example, http://server.vivimate.tv:8080).
- 6 Tap Add User. The app connects and downloads your Live TV, Movies, and Series.
Loading 50,000+ channels usually takes 30 to 60 seconds the first time. After that, the app opens straight to your channel grid.
Logging in with an M3U URL instead
If you prefer the M3U option, choose Load Your Playlist or File on the welcome screen, enter any name, then paste the full Vivimate M3U URL into the URL field and tap Add User. Everything streams the same way — the main trade-off is that the playlist is flat and may need a manual refresh when content is added.
Step 4 — Load the EPG and enable catch-up
The Xtream Codes login pulls the EPG (TV guide) directly from the Vivimate server. If the guide does not appear right away, open Settings > General > Auto EPG Update, enable it, then restart the app so it reloads the guide data.
Many Vivimate channels support catch-up (replaying programmes from the last few days). Where it is available, you will see a catch-up or archive icon on a channel — open the EPG, scroll back to an earlier programme, and press play to watch it on demand.
Step 5 — A few settings worth changing
- 1 Player selection: if a stream stutters, switch the default player between the built-in player and the hardware/exo decoder in Settings > Player Selection.
- 2 Auto-start: enable "Auto Start on Boot" so the app launches when your Firestick or TV box powers on.
- 3 Live TV layout: pick the grid or list view that suits you, and add favourites for quick access.

Quick troubleshooting
"Wrong credentials" or login failed
Username, Password, and Server URL are all case-sensitive. Copy-paste them exactly as Vivimate sent them, and remove any accidental spaces or a trailing slash on the URL.
Channels stopped loading / expired line
If your line has expired, the app shows an authorisation error. Renew or restart your Vivimate plan, and your existing login will reconnect — no need to re-enter anything.
EPG is missing or blank
Turn on Auto EPG Update in Settings, reload the guide, and restart the app. Give it a minute to download the full schedule from the server.
